Research - Analysis of Advertisments

Florence and The Machine Advertisement
The advertisement uses the same image as the Florence and The Machine album cover and creates a link between the two. This makes it easier for people to recognise the album, as well as showing what the advert is advertising. The font used on the advert is also the same as the font used on the album cover, and has a very simple and clear layout. This advert relates to my genre and audience because it has a photo of Florence posing in a typical indie female artist way.

Laura Marling Advertisement
This advertisement for Laura Marling uses the same image as her album cover to create a link between the advert and her album. The advert uses very few colours and is mainly in black and white. The font used on the advert is also the same font as the one on her album, and uses a very simple layout which goes well with the photo. This advert relates to my genre and audience because the photo of Laura Marling shows her posing in a typical indie way, making no eye contact with her audience and dressed in indie styled clothes.

Ellie Goulding Advertisement
This advertisement for Eliie Goulding's album uses the same image as the one on her album, and creates a strong link between the two. Her music videos and album cover use this glowing effect in them, which is also carried onto the advertising. This advertisement relates to my genre and audience because of the photo of Ellie Goulding facing away from the camera with her hands in hair, which is a very typical pose for female indie musicians.
