Production - Analysis of one sequence from the Rough Cut

Sequence: Repeating of 'You got the love' (1.22-130)

This sequence in our music video was the build up to the main part of the song, and we chose to use signs/objects to write 'you got the love'. I think that using signs/objects to illustrate the song worked, because it created a link to the shot of the sky and the faces at the start. The shot of the girl holding the signs could of been shot in a better lit location, and the camera angle for the leaves could of been done from a higher angle to show them more clearly. The shot of the girl dancing in between the clips of the signs was also a bit random, and we decided to remove it and found another way of writing 'you got the love'.
