Planning - Design Do's and Don't's

Do's:

• Use a clear font 
• Use a maximum of two fonts
• Use fonts that represent the genre
• Use clear photos that are in focus
• Follow the rule of thirds if using photos
• Use a maximum of three colours
• Use appropriate industry logos and conventions

Don't's:

• Stretch images 
• Use layer styles
• Use unnecessary effects
• Place text over the artist's face
