Although we have now finished our music video, we now have to develop a digipak and advert for an album. In order for me to create a digipak I personally feel that I would benefit from looking at exsiting artists and see how their digipaks have been developed.
Rihanna - Loud
Even though this image is very small, this digipak cover relates alot to Rihanna's music video's and her image. As her bright red hair appears throughout all her videos. The bright purples and red which appear in this photo also help to relate to her music. As she is famously known for being situated within the pop genre. Here is a video of her lastest video. These colours appear continuously throughout the video.
Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
This album cover also relates to Katy Perrys video 'California Gurls' as this photo is simply a screen shot from her music video. Also I feel that the colours and text show an obvious sign that is genre is pop. Here is a video to show that her album cover relates to her songs.
Ellie Goulding - Bright Lights
These gold dots which appear on her album cover also appear in a small majority of her videos. I also feel that the colours relate to her second name. As her name is Goulding the use of gold dots create a strong link between the artist and her album cover. Here is a video which displays these gold dots.
