Production - Analysis of one sequence from rough cut

This sequence in our music video is the main part of the song as it shows the chorus. we showed this by using signs as you can see on the left hand side a girl holding up a sign saying you, we also showed this through objects as you can see on the right leaves gathered up reading love. we could of improved these shots by using better light while filming because you can see shadows behind the girl and using a better shot so our audience can see better becasue its quite hard to read what the leaves are saying as its in an angle. we aslo removed many shots as some were a bit random and changed some around so it doesnt feel as if we were repeating the same thing .


    

Production - rough cut feedback

After our teacher saw our rough cut we were told to :

cut our clips more precisley and on the beat
- film new footage for the ending rather than using the same clip twice
- find a way to shorten the clip of the girl singing at the end
- find another way of writing 'you got the love' to fill in the gap

as a group we beagan planning to improve on our music video:

- editing the cuts between shots again
- using a close up of the girl's lips saying 'you got the love' to fill the gap
- using different shot types/angles of the girl singing to stop one clip going on for too long
- filming the boy walking and holding hands with the girl instead of repeating footage
